I'm not sure if it's needed or not the EV3 already had an IP address in the Network Preference panel when I installed this because I thought Eclipse couldn't see the EV3. Netgear WNA1100 WiFi dongle is needed (I have the WNA1000, thus I'm using USB for now) which is the name on the LCD screen of EV3 device and is an IP address made by the EV3 (NOT the IP address in the Mac Network Pref) You have to type into the Name field: 10.0.1.1
